Déthié Diagne is a senegalese writer, photographer and art enthusiast who defines his art as « The Now ». The beauty of a subject, a situation, a landscape, an outfit...in the Now. « When i look back at something i wrote or photographed, i want to be able to look back at it and remember exactly how that specific moment made me feel, the people i was with, and the level and intensity of the energy that made me want to capture all of it, it’s the beauty of The Now ». Déthié’s intention is to always showcase the beauty of what cannot be explained, particularly in his birth continent, Africa.
