Carefully hand selected by My Beautiful Africa, these artists invite you to an aesthetic and a journey of sensory to meet a vibrant Africa with modernity and creativity. We carefully choose works that capture the beauty of a moment, grasping silhouette, a body of Light, composition, colors and more.

He is specialized in portrait and fashion photography. Photography is his vehicle of self-expression, allowing him to highlight his creativity through various details, concepts, tones, and colors.


At a very young age he discovered in himself this very sensorial side in addition to his primary passion: drawing.
His studies in luxury management have given him this rigor and a sense of detail with regard to his works.
"I always say that in photography nothing is trivial, it is enough to see what the lambda cannot perceive".

Duke has gathered a wealth of knowledge on photography and high-end photo editing with a special interest in skin retouching. He creates rich imagery celebrating African women with strong emphasis on the iridescent skin tone black women possess. This fuels his passion for luxurious beauty and fashion photographs.

Between From Abidjan and the rest of the world, there is only one step.

The objective of his art is to portray the beauty of Africa from a different perspective and to contribute to the promotion of tourism in his country, Africa in miniature. In summary he paints with light, distance, and time.

Habila (Photography name: Stuffedbox) is a photographer who main focuses on showing the beauty he’s surrounded by and telling stories. He has always enjoyed creating. This is partly what inspired him to photography. Photography gives him the most freedom to express himself and show the world the way he sees it. A lot of his experiences and influences have shaped his creative side over the years, part of which are being born and raised in the most populous black nation in the world; Nigeria and being involved in advocacy while growing up. He believes there are different ways of artistically telling the African story and his is through the beauty of nature and it’s people.

Déthié Diagne is a senegalese writer, photographer and art enthusiast
who defines his art as « The Now ». The beauty of a subject, a situation,
a landscape, an outfit...in the Now. « When i look back at something i
wrote or photographed, i want to be able to look back at it and remember
exactly how that specific moment made me feel, the people i was with,
and the level and intensity of the energy that made me want to capture
all of it, it’s the beauty of The Now ». Déthié’s intention is to always
showcase the beauty of what cannot be explained, particularly in his
birth continent, Africa.

Yusupha Njie is a photographer, graphic designer and content creator based in The Gambia, West Africa. His work blends architecture, lifestyle, landscape, corporate and environmental portraits to promote adventure, brand awareness and exploration. His style is influenced by his surroundings with dark and moody tones.
Yusupha gives his images a deeper meaning by adding a story like feel to them. Yusupha works with some of the biggest brands in The Gambia while also running his design company, NINE GRAFIX.
Drawing inspiration from architecture, design and distant locations, with the propensity to capture images and moments propels his creativity as he continues to search for the extraordinary in the ordinary.
The name" subliminal9 " comes from two words: Sublimina and Nine, It means how he sees beauty and emotion through the lens, through a stimulus or mental process below the threshold of sensation. perceived by or affecting someone's mind without their being aware of it and turns that into reality. Nine (9) being an important factor in his life, considered a complete, perfected and divine number because it represents the end of a cycle in the decimal system. It also symbolizes completion - the finality of one cycle and another's possible beginning.
